If you happened to be in the surroundings of the forest buffer zone near the Gdansk-Wroblowka complex on 22 September this year, you may have observed youngsters and grown-ups in more or less coordinated activities. A closer study would have shown a bunch of happy Seatrans seamen and their families having fun and enjoying a BBQ.
The event was held at the same place as previous years; a location just perfect for various activities and competitions that are very popular among younger and older participants. “As with every year, the delicious food from the old Polish cuisine was served on the BBQ,” Iwona Paterka reports. “This is a nice occasion to meet friends and colleagues from other vessels while families can enjoy a nice and relaxing time together.”
This year, the gathering had some unexpected but warmly welcomed guests, Iwona adds: “It was a great pleasure to host the crew from Trans Emerald brought by their TSI Jacek Krajewski. In spite of hectic days at the shipyard, they found time to join us at the BBQ.”
The kids love to be fooled by the mysterious magician who suddenly appears…
